I've been crocheting since I was about 9 or 10, but I'm new to the world of knitting. A coworker recommended this book to me and I gotta say, it's pretty great. Not only is it easy to follow with good illustrations for knitting and crochet but it has little sample squares of patterns to give you ideas for projects. And if you're a crocheter and knitter, like me, it doesn't get much better. Even though I've been crocheting for 18+ years, I still found some interesting and new-to-me stitches that I can use! Also, for knitting, it offers directions in both the English and Continental methods.
