I bought several colors of this yarn to make chunky blankets. I can confidentiality say that the white yarn is not Merino Wool, it feels like stuffing you'd put in a pillow and I am disappointed that I paid over $100 for what I thought and was lead to believe was Merino wool. The light Grey is questionable whether it is Merino wool or not as it has a different texture/feel. The dark grey is authentic Merino and you can definitely tell the difference! It is wonderful! I would send back the white yarn but already made a blanket out of it. Seller should accommodate, that's only fair! Send authentic Merino Wool or don't sell it as that! Dissatisfied and disappointed, feel like I got ripped off. Bought a total of 4 eight pound skeins from this Seller!I wanted to make my mom a blanket. Seeing the prices for a larger throw I decided to try myself. I'm not a crafty person. I remade this blanket 4 times making it tighter each time. Make sure you work on a very clean surface as it tends to pick up anything. I definitely picked the wrong color as you can visibly see the lint and hair this material picks up. I used all 8 lbs for this blanket. It's heavy and warm but I am afraid it will snag or rip over time. That's why each time I made it tighter. My mom loved it and she said she uses it regularly. I didn't give a 5 start rating bc I've never used this material before. I'm not actually sure what it's supposed to feel like. I just know I was happy with my purchase and would purchase from them again. I received my purchase about 3 days from the purchase date.This wool is so soft and I used it to make a trendy giant knitt blanket for a friend!! I loved it so much I went and bought myself one for my own comfy and soft blanket!The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because there are these small plastic squiggly bits in the yarn that are rough to the touch if not removed, otherwise it’s beautifulYarn wasn't suitable for my project, even though it was as described. However, when I wanted to return it, they only gave me a portion of my money back, said to keep it (which is useless to me), and that, in this time of Covid, shipping was too expensive. Will never order from them again.Just received it. Delivered as promised, in good condition. Very soft. Haven't done anything with it yet but will re review when throw blanket is doneThis Merino Wool is SO SUPER FLUFFY, SUPER SOFT, and totally LUXURIOUS! I made a hand knit blanket with it and I could not be more happy with this purchase! I have purchased another 8 lbs. of this yarn to make another blanket for a wedding gift! ❤This wool is very soft and is a the color is more complex grey than shown in the photos. It’s warm and doesn’t shed much once you’re finished knitting. I will say there is a noticeable odor or chlorine bleach that I hope will dissipate over time.I am very happy with the wool.. I did a lot of shopping around.. you can't beat the price. It's sort soft and a nice color. I got the pink and dark grey. Shipping was fast.. well before the delivery dateWool was fantastic.
